Day 1: arrival in Uganda: upon arrival at Entebbe international airport, you well be welcomed by our driver guide
You will be transferred to your accommodation in Entebbe town for lunch or dinner
Depending on your time of arrival you can visit the Uganda wildlife education Centre, Entebbe botanical gardens, or at Lake Victoria boat ride
Day 2: Transfer to kibale forest national park: After having early morning breakfast, you will begin a 5-6-hour drive to kibale national park also known as the primate capital of the world where you will also enjoy the scenic views of the landscapes along the way and have lunch in fort portal town and rest before checking into your accommodation for dinner and overnight
Day 3: chimpanzee tracking and transfer to queen Elizabeth national park after breakfast you will head to park headquarters for briefing
- Embark to the scenic trails to find and experience time with our closet cousins in their natural habitats
- After spending an hour observing the chimpanzees return for lunch before transferring to queen Elizabeth national park for dinner and overnight accommodation
Day 4: Game drive and boat cruise: This day starts with an early game drive in queen Elizabeth national park where you can see various wildlife species such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs. In afternoon, a boat cruise along the kazinga channel provides opportunities to view the hippos and numerous bird species
Day 5: transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park or mgahinga gorilla national parks: after a morning a breakfast you will check out and transfer to one of these parks and along these journeys includes the breathtaking views of kigezi highlands with a stop over en route. Upon arrival in Bwindi or mgahinga gorilla national park guests check in to the nearby lodges and hotels for dinner
Day 6: Gorilla tracking: after a morning breakfast on this day you head to the park headquarters for a briefing by experienced park rangers and embark on your journey of finding the mountain gorillas
- Trekking can take 1-4hurs depending on location of the mountain gorilla’s family assigned
- after spending one hour with the gorillas return to the lodge for relaxation
Day 7: return to Kampala and Entebbe international airport: on your final day of this trip you will enjoy the breakfast wile casting memories of your journey of seven days around Uganda and you will check out of the lodge
Here you will start your journey to return home via kabale, Mbarara, masaka with stop over at the equator before arriving to Kampala for an evening city tour to visit museum or straight to airport or hotel for departure

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali and Transfer to Nyungwe Forest
The journey begins with your arrival at Kigali International Airport, where you will be picked up by your guide. After a brief city tour that may include visits to local markets and the Gisozi Genocide Memorial, you will embark on a scenic drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park. This journey typically takes about five hours. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation at one of the lodges near the park.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Canopy Walk
On the second day, after an early breakfast, you will participate in chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe Forest. You will receive a briefing from park rangers before heading into the forest to locate the chimps. This experience allows you to observe their behavior while also spotting other primate species along the way. After lunch at your lodge, you’ll enjoy a canopy walk that offers stunning aerial views of the forest.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Kivu
After breakfast on Day 3, you will check out from your lodge and transfer to Lake Kivu. This is one of Africa’s largest lakes and offers various activities such as swimming, canoeing, and bird watching. Upon arrival at your accommodation overlooking the lake, you can relax or take part in an afternoon boat ride to explore some nearby islands.
Day 4: Tour of Lake Kivu and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Following breakfast at Lake Kivu, you’ll spend part of the day touring fishing villages around the lake before transferring to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze. Here you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Virunga volcanoes as you settle into your accommodation for an early night’s rest.
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking
This is one of the highlights of your safari—gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park. After an early breakfast and briefing at Kinigi park headquarters, you’ll be allocated a gorilla family to track. The trek can last anywhere from two to six hours depending on where the gorillas are located. Once found, you’ll have one hour with these magnificent creatures before returning to your lodge for lunch.
Day 6: Golden Monkey Tracking and Visit Twin Lakes
On Day 6, after breakfast, you’ll head back into Volcanoes National Park for golden monkey tracking. These endangered primates are known for their playful nature and are often easier to spot than gorillas. After this activity, you’ll visit the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo for scenic views before returning to your accommodation.
Day 7: Return to Kigali
On your final day, enjoy breakfast at leisure before making your way back to Kigali. Depending on your flight schedule or time constraints upon arrival in Kigali earlier during Day 1, you may have time for additional sightseeing or shopping before being dropped off at either the airport or your hotel.
